A general-purpose stuck systems is that devices used to control, keep an eye on or support the operation of equipment, equipment or plant. " EmbeddedвЂќ reflects the very fact that they are an important part of the system and it is a combination of hardware and software to works a specific task. Common examples of embedded devices include MP3 players, satnav systems on plane and intruder alarm systems. An inlayed system may also be defined as a single purpose computer. CLASSIFICATION
1 ) Small Scale Stuck Systems: These systems uses a single 8- or 16-bit microcontroller; they may have little software and hardware complexities and involve board-level design. 2 . Medium Scale Embedded Systems: These systems are usually designed with a single or perhaps few16- or perhaps 32-bit microcontrollers or DSPs or Lowered Instruction Established Computers (RISCs). These include both software and hardware complexities three or more. Sophisticated Inserted Systems: Superior embedded systems have enormous hardware and software complexities and may even need scalable processors or perhaps configurable processors and pre-reglable logic arrays. They are employed for cutting edge applications that need software and hardware co-design and integration inside the final program.
